Version 2 of my video presentation

I have recently revised my video presentation for the Principles of Distance Education class and would like for you to check out both versions and let me know which one is the best.

  1. I like this one better. The narration is much clearer. You did a lot of work on finding graphics for your slides and did a nice job on the transitions.

  2. Ametha,

This one was a lot better. Your narration is clearer and it was easier to read the words that you had on the graphics. I really like the way that the words animated in and out.

  6. Ametha,
Thank you for defining 'critical thinking' at the outset of your video presentation. So often we hear those words thrown about in education and just as often I believe that few truly understand what it means to think critically. Your presentation does a nice job of providing structure and guidelines for educators who lack understanding regarding your topic. Additionally, the rubric for this presentation specifically requires evidence presented by recent research studies. You successfully integrated this requirement into your video without it being distracting or disjointed. I believe you handled this better than most. Your audio was clear, your words were clean, and your tone was calm. One question, did I miss your keynote introduction? Otherwise, nice work!

  7. Ametha,
I thought your video presentation was easy to follow and jam packed with informative research. The most interesting research finding that was presented was having an instructor involved on a limited basis in the online discussion, but the comments from the instructor need to be specific in order to generate further critical thinking. With this being the first online class with an involved instructor I thought that research finding was very factual and correct. Good job.
